Is This the Most Original Announcement for a Web Design Job Ever?

If the medium is the message, then the ad for a Web design position at Duolingo says, “you are a visual thinker.”

Duolingo, the innovative attempt to translate the entire web spawned by noted games-with-a-purpose pioneer Luis von Ahn, is looking for a web designer. It’s a sure sign that despite their caginess, they’ve perfected their interaction model and are getting ready to launch.

Coming from the crew at Carnegie Mellon who invented CAPTCHA, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that it’s probably the most original advertisement for a designer you’ve ever seen:
