The Economist has a story about researchers who believe they have found a way to block the spread of cancer using nanomaterials. I’m nowhere near able to speculate on how ‘real’ this is (nor can you read the article because it’s behind a subscriber wall)…however, Slashdot has a great thread going on it now.

In fact, a cursory search of the news on this specific subject pulled up only one hit – the Slashdot thread. There is, however, a tangentially related piece about research going on at Rice University (which is in Texas, for those wondering).
