Not quite as big an intrusion as the sex video, but still — quiet the privacy scoop, don’t you think? At least that is what the Independent reports. It’s not clear to me if someone hacked in with Bluetooth or if they simply stole the phone. Either way, it turns out that there were many starlets and other famous people in the Hilton phone’s phone book, and now they are all getting crank calls…

As a follow-up, several people have pointed to this article in the Register in which a hacker broke in to the Side Kick server that T-Mobile uses. So it’s entirely possible that the hacker who got the Paris Hilton address book was never anywhere near Paris, but instead was hacking into her cell phone provider’s servers.
