Mobile Summit 2013: Kevin Mahaffey – Lookout – Mobile Security

Kevin is an entrepreneur and technologist with a background in security, wireless, and Web applications. He is the CTO of Lookout, which he cofounded in 2007 with John Hering and James Burgess. Kevin is responsible for driving Lookout’s technology to protect people from current and future threats while keeping the product simple and easy to use. He started programming when he was eight years old, and it has been a love affair ever since. A frequent speaker on security, mobile technology, and other topics, Kevin has recently spoken at the Black Hat Technical Security Conference, DEFCON, Yahoo Security Week, and Microsoft’s Bluehat Security Conference. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in electrical engineering.
