Stretching a Gallon for 100 Miles

Ford’s plug-in Hybrid is said to be the most fuel-efficient midsize car in the world, capable of getting the equivalent of over 100 miles per gallon. The car can be charged at either a 120-volt outlet or a 240-volt outlet equipped for supplying electric vehicles, and its charging schedule can be programmed using a smart-phone monitoring app.
