Glimpses of the Google Phone

Details on Google’s Nexus One smart phone are leaking out.

Google is expected to launch the Nexus One, its own Android-based cell phone, at a press event tomorrow. And although the company hasn’t officially released any information about the device, details are starting to leak out across on the Internet.

Engadget has posted hands-on video with the device, and Wired compiled a list of all that’s known about the Nexus One so far. Although the early information seems generally positive, no one seems to think that the Nexus One will revolutionize the smart phone market. In fact, Engadget says the device is not substantially different from Verizon’s Droid.
