The CIA is conducting cyber War Games, which doesn’t mean they are now using simulators to simulate ground wars scenarios. Instead, they are putting together an exercise that deals with an attack against our infrastructures here, bringing together private companies and government organizations to try to figure out what would happen if our networks were crippled.
The exercise was being conducted in Charlottesville, Virginia, by members of the CIA’s Information Operations Center, which evaluates foreign threats to U.S. computer systems, particularly those that support critical infrastructures. It was expected to conclude Thursday.
