It isn’t often that a group of scientists get together to offer their views before they reach the peer-reviewed literature. But now a group of nine climatologists have started a blog, dubbed RealClimate to present their views on climate science.
“We hope this site will serve as a resource that can challenge mis-representations or mis-understandings of the science as they occur in real time,” said Michael Mann, one of the founders of the site.
(Other contributors include Gavin Schmidt of NASA-GISS, Ray Bradley of U Mass, and Stefan Rahmstorf of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany.) It should be an interesting site.
