CNN Documents Grand Canyon Troubles

There is a growing amount of press coverage about the environmental problems facing the Grand Canyon. The latest summary appeared in CNN today — Grand Canyon in deep trouble – Jun 8, 2004. Key points: things are bad; they are getting worse; the mini floods that were tried over the past few years haven’t worked; the recreational uses of the river are among those that are causing its destruction.
