Computerworld has put together this view of the Navy’s new HSV (High Speed Vessel) 2 Swift, a 294-foot aluminum-hulled catamaran, which has a crew of just 42 sailors and massive automation. According to the article, “Nearly every function of the ship, from navigation and steering to engine and damage control, is conducted and monitored using commercial, off-the-shelf hardware and software.”

Look at the photos really close and you’ll see that this is another one of those Windows boats. Sure looks cool, though.
