The Associated Press reports today that Mike Rowe, the clever 17-year-old British Columbia native who named his website www.MikeRoweSoft.com, has settled a trademark infringement dispute with Microsoft. The software giant agreed to cover the expense of changing the website’s name to MikeRoweForums. And just to show that there were no hard feelings, the company threw in a free Xbox game console. Rowe decided to donate to charity most of the $6,000 in donations he had collected through his website for his legal defense. But somehow I doubt you’ll find that Xbox at Goodwill.
