Sustainable Energy

The i-MiEV

Courtesy of Mitsubishi

The i-MiEV has a range of 160 kilometers and can be charged in either of two ways. Fully charging the battery from a regular 100- or 200-volt power outlet requires 14 or seven hours, respectively. Alternatively, a dedicated quick-charging system can provide an 80 percent charge in about 30 minutes.
