The International Space Station
We hear a lot about the International Space Station – and it seems like there are visitors going there all of the time. But I was having a discussion with my intern Brittany a few weeks ago (her dad works at NASA), and I was complaining that we never actually see pictures of what the thing looks like. She helped change that.
It’s not at all what I was expecting. In my head, I figured this was a tiny satellite-like craft orbiting the earth. I still don’t think I’d want to spend much time up there (let alone several weeks).
