Michel Gondry at MIT
On Tuesday April 5, Michel Gondry, French filmmaker exraordinaire, will be presenting his brain for the MIT community. His talk “Exploring the Mind of Michel Gondry” will hopefully reveal not only how he pulls off technical feats and camera trickery, but also how he gets inspiration and conceives of his ideas.
Gondry is best known for directing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind which recently won an oscar. His music videos bring that format to new heights in bringing attention to the nature of visually interpreting music. His director’s DVD also collects together some of his commercials and short films. http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2005/arts-gondry-0330.html
