I’m always intrigued by the mainstream media’s confusion over defining what blogging is and why bloggers are doing it (The Daily Show’s recent commentary on the differences/similarities did a great job of summing up some of the issues) because I can’t help but feel that in many ways what bloggers and those who read their work are doing is demanding a new way of accessing the news, an interactive mode of delivery which allows the user to feel involved instead of distanced from the medium.
