Today, December 21st, the US Department of Homeland Security has raised us from Code Yellow to Code Orange. According to the website, “We know from experience that the increased security that is implemented when we raise the threat level, along with increased vigilance, can help disrupt or deter terrorist attacks.”

How’s that for doublethink?

In the words of our government, “Make a Kit. Make a Plan. Be Informed.”
