Rick Crowley is Advisor to the CEO of MIT Technology Review. He has over 30 years of financial and management experience in the biotechnology, high technology, publishing, and manufacturing industries and has served as a contract chief financial officer or executive at numerous companies since 1995. Previously, he earned his CPA while at Price Waterhouse and served as chief financial officer of the Crosby Vandenburgh Group, a publishing company; senior vice president of Transnational Financial Services, a marketer of financial products to affinity groups; and COO of LittlePoint, a consumer products company. He is the former vice chairman of the Massachusetts Board of Education and a finance committee member of the New England Baptist Hospital. Crowley earned a BA in economics from Providence College and received training in accounting at Cornell Business School.
