A number of websites have started posting detailed deconstructions of how hackers and fraudsters are trying to trick people into revealing credit card information or running remote control software on their computer. This report in Macintouch shows a series of Paypal-related scams, mostly done via HTML and spamming.

A far more sophisticated analysis appears at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virgina. Check it out, although it may be incomprehensible unless you know your HTML and JavaScript.
