Kids say "Classic" Video games Really Weren’t All That Good
Electronic Gaming Monthly got 9 kids (aged 9 to 12) to play the classic video games Pong, Donkey Kong, Handheld Football, Tetris, Super Mario Brothers, E.T., and Space Invaders.
I never liked the classic games all that much either, but it was a riot to read the transcriptions of what the kids said. My favorite line (about Mattel’s Handheld Football) — “I don’t see how this has anything remotely to do with football.”
(Well, I admit it, I spent hours playing that Football game…)
