Chrome Experiments

The applications uploaded to the project homepage are designed to show off the browser's capabilities.

By Erica Naone

BallDroppings: Like other demos on Chrome Experiments, this application designed to show what the browser can do with ordinary HTML and JavaScript. A user is presented with a single white ball that drops through a black screen. She can draw lines that deflect the ball and chime when the ball hits. Nimoy says that Chrome runs the application faster and more smoothly than any other Web browser he tried.
