For those of you who regularly read the TR Blogs, you’ll notice we’ve given it a bit of a facelift.

The biggest change is the addition of MoveableType as our publishing tool. It replaces what was our old homebrewed system. We looked at a host of solutions (Blogger, WordPress, ect), and found that this system offers us the kinds of flexibility that we need moving forward.

There are also some new features; however, author search was the one most requested. And now you have it.

This isn’t the final version, obviously. It’s just one small step for a blog, on the way to one giant leap for blogkind. Over the next few months, we will be cleaning up the GUI, adding some new features, and making this more accessible to a multitude of screens.

We’re also in the process of creating individual blogs for Jason Pontin, the Editor-in-Chief for Technology Review (whom I affectionately call “boss”), and myself, the Web editor for TechnologyReview.com. That way, we can start a dialogue with you.

But that comes a bit later. For now, please enjoy the new design – and tell us what you think.
