This was posted several weeks ago, but I missed it —
an analysis of some of the leaked Microsoft Windows 2000 source code . The analysis is well-written and it does a good job explaining to even non-programmers what the fuss should really be about.

Specifically — there’s not much of a security risk here. The main problem for Microsoft is PR.
