Check out this blog entry by Om Malik, a senior editor at Business 2.0. Malik says he has seen quite a few people around Manhattan using the new Treo 600, and suggests that If 2003 was the year of Ipoddery, then 2004 could be a year of Treo-trendiness. Gadget guru and TR columnist Simson Garfinkel admires the new Treo too, though with some qualifications. But judging from the results of last week’s survey, the Treo ain’t the new iPod quite yet. That’s probably because the Treo does many things pretty well, whereas the iPod does one thing exquisitely well.
