Today, December 21st, the US Department of Homeland Security has raised us from Code Yellow to Code Orange. According to the website, “We know from experience that the increased security that is implemented when we raise the threat level, along with increased vigilance, can help disrupt or deter terrorist attacks.”

In other words, if we raise the alert level to Orange and there is no attack, then we did the right thing by raising the alert level to Orange!
