With the Layar Reality Browser from Sprxmobile, users of Android-based smart phones can see links to geographically relevant information--real-estate listings, restaurant reviews, Wikipedia entries, and more--overlaid in real time on camera views of the surrounding scenery. Users can choose what kind of information they want to see: for example, a Londoner working near Big Ben could see Twitter posts from nearby friends, while a tourist visiting the same location might see pointers to historical and tourism-related Web pages.
