Printing without Ink

These crystals are used in photo paper developed by ZINK imaging. When heated to a certain temperature, the crystal structure of the molecules--transparent at room temperature--breaks down to form an amorphous glass of magenta, cyan, or yellow. Many sheets of these crystals, each with either magenta, cyan, or yellow properties, are used in each piece of photo paper.
