Web Applications Developer (.Net/C# Developer)

Technology Review (www.technologyreview.com), MIT's award-winning magazine of innovation, seeks an experienced Web Applications Developer. This position will report to the company's Vice President Online. Responsibilities include building applications for publishing, database integration and social networking. The primary focus is always on developing innovative new front-end features for our online readers, but software coding for our Content Management System as well as XML/RSS-based and e-commerce projects are also the norm. The developer will be part of a three-person development team.

Technology Review offers a creative, intellectually charged, casual work environment with excellent compensation and benefits through MIT.

Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year developing Web applications in .Net utilizing C#. Familiarity with SQL Server and IIS 5.0 as well as a working knowledge of web production tools and database-driven sites are musts. A strong understanding of XML is also required. Experience programming electronic commerce systems is a plus.
