Netbooks--pint-size laptops for Internet access and light computing such as word processing--have grown in popularity and variety. Now a detachable netbook allows users to remove the screen from the keyboard and use it as a touch-screen tablet computer. The device, which weighs 0.9 kilograms, includes batteries in each half; the detached tablet runs for about four hours on its batteries, while the combined tablet and keyboard lasts ten hours. The gadget uses a processor normally found in smart phones and ­BlackBerrys. It is expected to reach market this summer.3
