Work as part of our sales and marketing team to provide sales support for global sales effort and events. This unique position will report into both the head of advertising sales and that of marketing, essentially acting as the bridge between both groups.
Major Responsibilities
- Create well written, customized RFP copy to support the sales team through research and fact finding
- Support of marketing campaigns with writing, organizing, and analytics
- Manage company's sales database
- Perform audience research and data-mining from database to support sales team
- Assist with PR and social media efforts
- Maintain online media kit and sales tools library
- Manage inquiries concerning permissions and royalties of editorial content
- Coordinate with events team on conferences, custom events and webcasts
- Help with a variety of other tasks and others as needed
Minimum Required Skills
- 1-3 years experience in a marketing communications position, preferably in an agency, sales or publishing environment
- High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and Internet applications
- Graphic Design skills a plus
- Strong marketing communications writing skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Highly developed organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior staff, suppliers and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree preferred
