Job Title: Senior Account Manager, Selling to Marketing & Strategy Professionals
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Cambridge, MA
 
Description:
Thissales position focuses on accounts in the US. You maintain strongrelationships, drive client satisfaction, and focus on sellingadditional products and services. You are also rewarded for clientretention and enrichment sales. Roughly 20% to 30% of your time isspent on travel within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
* Nurture and develop 15 to 20 existing clients.
*The client base is primarily a mix of business- to consumer-facingcompanies in primarily concentrated in the following verticals --media, retail, marketing, financial services, and consumer electronics.
*Generate incremental revenues from existing clients by sellingadditional Forrester products and services and proactively pursuingexecutive-level relationships.
* Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow revenue and ensure client satisfaction.
* Maintain an appropriate incremental sales pipeline to achieve account enrichment goals.
* Forecast accurately.
* Maintain quality relationships to retain clients.
* Use analytical skills to understand our clients’ changing business and technology issues and needs.
* Work strategically to develop and execute account plans that position Forrester as a strategic resource.
* Communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences.

Requirements:
* B.S./B.A. or equivalent experience
*Five or more years of proven success in client management or successfulconsultative or solution selling in the high-tech or professionalservices industries
* Proven experience in managing client relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies
* Effective organization and time-management skills
* Team player
* Fast learner and at ease with technology
