When an entity declares bankruptcy, how does value created from the vacuum balance back to zero net?

Financial thermodynamics is at best a toy model. There is no conservative field in finance. Washington jiggered a $6 trillion remonitization of private debt. The EU insists it can bail out a PIIG ship already deeply submerged. It ain't no submarine, folks.

There is no Social Security fund, there is no Medicare financing, there are no pensions awaiting, and there may well be no investments surviving. Central corruption comes a day when precious metals gold, silver, and platinum are joined by ballistic lead. Empirical demonstration is Zimbabwe, its farming, its currency, and its blood-gushing "social corrections."

Uh, oh... Uncle Al, I am hesitant to ask what part of the country you are in, or what kind of geography you prefer to surround yourself with -- I won't even ask what altitude you are at...

"Neutrino Oscillations" seems to assume that quantum gravity effects are maintained as a constant, even across significant spatial gradients. It would almost be worth the expense of placing a calibrated neutrino source (??) on the surface of the moon, in order to test their concepts... In comparison with the alternative of a collider 16 magnitudes more powerful than the LHC, the moon seems simple.

I kept stumbling over tiny cracks in their presentation, which seemed to derive from the conceptual translations from German. Makes me wonder if anyone has looked into which human language deals most naturally with mathematical concepts. The people who most easily assert "German, Russian, English are the best" may not be capable of appreciating the fine points of Navajo, Serbo-Croation, Basque, let alone Mandarin Chinese (tonal) or the various pictographically-driven Oriental mindsets...

"Noisy-threshold apoptosis" A)seemed odd in comparison to our "usual" context, B) was a nice exercise in seeking an underlying basis for a whole series of "curve-fit" results, and C) made me wonder what would result from combining THIS analysis with the information-processing concept of inserting a controlled amount of noise into a comm-channel in order to dramatically improve its actual data-transport capabilities...

More specifically, whether there might be a benefit to having a somewhat "randomized" performance spec for threshold levels and noise sensitivities in some digital devices... And the concept of dynamically adjusting those performance specs seems worth consideration -- and yeah, I know, it's being done now.
