"We conclude that these results are consistent with the hypothesis that nuclear decay rates may be influenced by some form of solar radiation."

Given the conclusion, it is disturbing that the data fluctuation remains clean through solar maxima and minima.

0.5% annual variation is compelling given the data. Diurnal measurements would be telling, the Earth's surface exposed to and its intervening mass shielding solar radiation. Four simultaneous experiments are indicated: One set of various decays measured for a week before and after, and during directly under a total solar eclipse. A second set at the antipode on the other side of the Earth. Two more sets, each reflected on the other side of the equator to the primary experiments.

Given efforts expended, add an increment to validate or falsify the Allais effect.

NdFeB supermagnets are cheap and easy to obtain,

Magnetic field should make no dfference at all in nuclear decay half-life (electron capture decay excepted). Perhaps that is why nobody has looked.
