Grad student Mary Hale models the Monumental Helium Inflatable Wearable Floating Body Mass she designed for Give Me Shelter, an advanced visual-design course. “She who dons this suit gains its lightness and freedom by assuming a culturally undesirable physical proportion–a volume at least 10 times greater than her actual size,” says Hale.
