"She who dons this suit gains its lightness and freedom by assuming a culturally undesirable physical proportion--a volume at least 10 times greater than her actual size," says Hale. Inflation of the plastic-dropcloth-and-electrician-tape ­pantaloons requires a 15-minute bond with the Shop-Vac.
