      Job Description

Digital Influence Group has an immediate opportunity for a talented Director to lead our Technology team. The Director, Technology leads a group of skilled developers and partners with the internal Creative, Production and Marketing teams and external clients to manage and deliver innovative interactive projects on time and within budget. The Director also provides hands-on support for all phases of development from the design, coding and testing through implementation.

 

As a senior member of the agency’s management team, the Director provides recommendations and insight for enhancing technologies/platforms that power clients’ interactive marketing campaigns. He/She must have significant experience matching Internet technologies to business needs, as well as with scoping, maintaining budgets and resources for multiple technology projects. Additionally, the Director participates in the business development process and contributes to building and nurturing client relationships. The Director reports to the President.

 

Required Experience

Top consideration given to candidates coming from ad/marketing agency environments, and those who have experience working on cross-functional teams

BA or BS, preferably in computer science, engineering, or science/technology-based discipline

8-10 years experience; 3-5 years experience leading/managing the development of data driven web-based applications

Mastery of software engineering methodologies; proven ability to research, design and lead implementations of flash tools and other modules – knowledge of Microsoft technologies is a plus

Expert-level proficiency in Flash and Actionscript 2.0 or 3.0; familiarity with and interest in Adobe Flex and other emerging technologies

Solid understanding of User Interface design methodologies

Excellent client management and presentation skills; solid people management skills
